Core Formation

Cultivators that successfully condense their Liquid-like Spiritual Energy into a solid core within their Dantian enter the Core Formation Stage. Upon entering this stage, a cultivator's lifespan is increased by hundreds of years. As they progress through the various stages of Core Formation they can have their lifespan increased up to 500 years. In addition to lifespan, cultivators at the Core Formation stage gain the ability to use "Core Fire" which allows them to refine their own magical tools and treasures. Prior to Core Formation, a cultivator require external assistance to refine treasures..

In the Mortal World, Core Formation cultivators are highly valued by sects. They will often be treated as elders or ancestors undertaking lower-level disciples.

Stage	Description
Early	Initial stage upon achieving Core Formation. Cultivators can effortlessly dispatch Foundation Establishment grade cultivators.
Middle	Achieved through further condensation of a cultivator's core. Individuals can collect and store greater amounts of Spiritual Energy. Cultivators at this stage can typically easily dispatch Early-stage Core Formation cultivators.
Late	Achieved through further condensation. Individuals can collect and store greater amounts of Spiritual Energy. Cultivators at this stage can typically easily dispatch Middle-stage Core Formation cultivators.
False-Nascent Soul	Also known as Peak Core Formation. This is achieved when the solid core reaches sufficient density that it is ready to collapse. Cultivators must be wary of storing too much Spiritual Energy, otherwise they may trigger premature condensation of a Nascent Soul.

Core Fire	Cultivators gain the ability to generate intense magical fire using the energy collected by their Core. Cultivators can finely control their Core Flames allowing them to refine higher grade magical treasures.
Flight	Cultivators can for the first time, fly without the assistance of a magical tool or treasure.

Core Formation cultivators benefit from materials with concentrated Spiritual Energy that can be absorbed to break-through cultivation bottlenecks between the various stages of Core Formation. Additionally materials that can be infused into magical treasures to strengthen their abilities are also useful.

Heavenmend Pills	490	A pill that purifies the innate Spiritual Roots of cultivator. For the pill to have an effect, a cultivator needs to be at the Core Formation stage. Purified spiritual roots accelerates the absorption of Spiritual Energy making it quicker to progress in cultivation.
Illusionary Destruction Pills	1189	A pill that contains concentrated Spiritual Energy refined from Illusionary Spirit Herbs. This pill assists cultivators in breaking through from the Early stage of Core Formation to the Middle stage. It can also provide a little help with breaking through to the Late stage. The pill has diminishing returns eventually having no effect.
Jadefire Wine	543	A wine concocted using the demon core of a metamorphosis-stage Demon Beasts. The wine can only be concocted by Windbreaker demon beasts. It requires over 100 years to ferment. When the wine is consumed for the first time, it will stimulate the true-essence within the body allowing a breakthrough in a bottleneck.
Nature Origin Pills	752	A pill that contains concentrated Spiritual Energy refined from a Spirit Kindle Fruit. This pill assists cultivators by saving years of cultivation through a dense infusion of Spiritual Energy[1].
Ninecurl Spirit Ginseng	433	A sentient spiritual herb evolved using Spiritual Energy. Consumption provides a boost to a cultivators collected Spiritual Energy. It is renown for its side-effect of doubling the chances of forming a Nascent Soul.
